ABOUT ME:

I was born and raised in Owensboro, KY, graduating from Daviess County High School in 2001. My undergraduate education was at University of Kentucky and I received a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2005. After graduating, I married my wife Angie who had just completed her degree in Education, also at the University of Kentucky.  We decided life should be an adventure...so we packed our belongings and moved a thousand miles away to Austin, TX.  I decided that becoming a Physician Assistant was my calling and I matriculated at The University of North Texas Health Science Center of Fort Worth in 2008, completing my studies in 2011 and immediately began working as an Orthopedic Physican Assistant in Austin, TX.  We decided to return back home to Owensboro in 2012 where we have happily remained.  I have been employed at Owensboro Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine since 2015.  Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is a level 3 trauma facility with 352 beds that serves Daviess County along with 10 additional neighboring counties in western Kentucky.  Our practice consists of 5 full-time orthopedic surgeons, 5 physician assistants, 3 non-operative sports medicine physicians, 3 podiatrists, and 1 nurse practitioner.  We have several outlying clinics regionally which expand our footprint and create access for several hundred thousand members of the communities we serve, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.  I serve as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Evansville Physician Assistant Program and take great satisfaction in helping students become high quality healthcare providers.  I assist in providing sports medicine care for the athletes of Kentucky Wesleyan College, Brescia University, and several local high school programs.

The Fun Stuff

When I'm not working, I enjoy riding motorcycles, exercising, traveling, hunting, and hanging out with friends and family!
